Summer Fun with Macaroni Kid

Issaquah, Sammamish, Snoqualmie, North Bend and Fall City

The really cold, dreary, endlessly wet days of winter are but a distant memory for me.  Back in February when I was pining for summer, I completely forgot just how BUSY the morning, noon, and nights of June, July, and August can be!  There is just so much to do and so many places to see and friends to play with.  And, well, I am loving every minute of it!  And my girls are sleeping better than ever, a clear indication that they approve of our busy schedule, too!

The good news is that we still have more than two month before the autumnal equinox, and after such a crummy winter and spring, I just know Mother Nature has a beautiful summer planned for us!  I hope that statement is seen as optimism and not a jinx!

Macaroni Kid is here to help you make the most of the summer and plan for the extra time with your kiddos!  Our event listings overflowing with fun activiities as well as many options for family outings. A reminder that you can find events two ways:

  1. By scrolling through This Week's Picks, This Week's Calendar, Teen Scene, and Plan Ahead.
  2. By accessing our online CALENDAR, which allows you to see a particular day's events with just a click.

You may also want to use the (printable) My Macaroni feature to keep track of all the events you'd like to attend.  If you know of other events, please email us the details.

May we ask a favor?  Why don't you forward this newsletter to THREE of your local friends? Why would you do that?  Well, there are THREE reasons we can think of ...
  1. Macaroni Kid is free and fabulous and we know you like that!
  2. More parents will be in-the-know and what’s not to like about that?
  3. You’re just thoughtful like that!

Wishing you a fun-filled week ahead,

Diana ([email protected])

 and

A costume swap is recycling at its most fun. Kids get new-to-them costumes, and parents get to save money and the planet.  National Costume Swap Day is the brainchild of ...
