Whether you're new to Macaroni Kid or would just like to know how to make the most of what we offer, this is the place to find out more about your local one-stop shop for family-friendly events and activities.
What is Macaroni Kid? Macaroni Kid is a website. It's also a newsletter. What's the difference? They're the same thing, except that once the newsletter is "published" each week (e-mailed to each subscriber on Thursdays at 3:00pm), then the website will change and reflect the current newsletter. The advantage of subscribing is that you will automatically get a newsletter with the current calendar of events and activities, articles, recipes, craft ideas, giveaways, and more ... without having to do a thing.
And Macaroni Kid Snoqualmie Valley is published by two local moms - Dana and Diana. We live right here in your community. We support local businesses and shop where you shop. Our kids play where your kids play. We attend the events we tell you about.
Business Directory: Whether you're looking for a music class for your toddler, local preschools, a camp for your grade-schooler, the best places to dine with your family, the perfect party venue, or even the best family photographer, you can find it all in our Business Directory. You can find the link at the top of the page.
Calendar: Although there is a list of current and upcoming events listed in the main part of the newsletter/website, this does not include every activity, so check the calendar to see the entire month of activities and events. We encourage you to check the calendar often because we add new activities and events as we hear about them!
My Macaroni: After each event/activity listed there is a + sign next to "Add to My Macaroni". Click the + sign for each event that looks interesting, and a list of your favorites will be compiled for you to refer back to at another time (by clicking on the large pink "My Macaroni" button above the Table of Contents), or you can print it out and hang it on your refrigerator so you can be sure to include these activities into your week.
Facebook: Yep, Macaroni Kid Snoqualmie Valley-Issaquah even has a Facebook page. If you "Like" us, you'll be reminded of events and promotions, made aware of new events and Facebook-only giveaways, and interact with your publisher moms (that's us!) and other Macaroni Kid fans! Each article on Facebook also has a "Like" button, so you can share with your friends. And then maybe they'll "Like" us too :) And don't forget Twitter and Pinterest too!
Search Feature: Macaroni Kid issues are automatically filed on the website. You can look through the individual issues under Snoqualmie Valley-Issaquah Archives (at the top of the page), or you can use the "search" box if there's something specific you want to find, and voila! up comes a list of related articles and events from previous issues of your local Macaroni Kid, as well as from national Macaroni Kid newsletters.
