Encompass to Provide Parking Services at Marshawn Lynch’s 2015 Beast Mode Challenge

July 23, 2015
On August 15, Encompass volunteers will provide parking services for participants of Marshawn Lynch’s Beast Mode Challenge, located at Dirtfish Rally School in Snoqualmie. All parking proceeds will directly benefit Encompass’ 26 programs, which support Snoqualmie Valley children and their families through early learning and pediatric therapy services.

The 2015 Subway Beast Mode Challenge at Dirtfish will boast a 3.5 mile obstacle-laden course, allowing people from all backgrounds and abilities to challenge their inner strength and mental toughness. Dirtfish will provide participants with 12 obstacles to overcome, including slides, walls, mud pits, hills, water and more.

The Challenge serves as a fundraiser for Marshawn Lynch’s Fam 1st Family Foundation, which is “dedicated to uplifting and empowering youth in the Bay Area and throughout the United States.” The foundation’s mission aims to empower and educate young minds with the hope of building self-esteem and developing academic skills in our nation’s underprivileged youth.

The Beast Mode challenge provides participants the platform to test their own toughness, while also supporting the families served by Encompass and the Fam 1st Family Foundation.  “You don’t feel in Beast Mode, it feels you,” Marshawn Lynch said in his January 2015 Skittle interview. According to the “beast” himself, “Beast Mode is a state of mind, an inner super strength that inspires you to move faster, life more, jump higher and extend yourself past what you thought was humanly possible.”  Join in the fun and let out your inner “Beast Mode!” while making a difference in the lives of children both locally and nationally.
