Thanksgiving is in two weeks ... and, ready or not, the holiday season is upon us!  The hustle and bustle of the coming weeks may have some of us traveling near or far, others of us grocery shopping, cooking for hours, and everyone spending plenty of time with family and friends.  In all the craziness, don't forget to take a few moments to share with your loved ones - both young and old - what you are thankful for

But before we turn our attention to the merriment of December ... before we give our lives over to the hustle and bustle of all things Christmas and Hannukah, Macaroni Kid wants to make sure you don't miss any of the local family fun happening in November!  Here are just a few of the highlights; our EVENT CALENDAR lists all the family-friendly happenings!

It's worth noting that our local school districts will have some schedule changes.  Snoqualmie Valley School District has Early Release for Parent Conferences Friday, November 20 and the following Monday through Wednesday.  We've got some tips to make sure you're ready for parent-teacher conferences.

Students in Snoqualmie Valley, Issaquah, and Lake Washington school districts do not have school on Thursday and Friday.
