Summer is quickly approaching and along with that comes the dreaded what do I do to entertain the kids? At Encompass we are currently signing up kids ages 2 to 7 for our flexible and fun summer camps. These half-day summer camps are a great option for introducing young ones to a classroom like setting. Each camp has a theme and runs for one week so you can pick and choose which one (or more) that works with your needs.

These programs are not only fun but they also allow children to socialize, learn new things and gradually become accustomed to time away from mom and dad. Some of the great themes we have this year include the ever popular Dr. Seuss, Book Bonanza and All about Art for the 3-4 year old set. While your child is having fun they will also be learning how a book works, manual dexterity through art and that a cat in a hat cannot always be trusted.

Older kids have the option of becoming Great Gardeners where they will get their hands dirty and learn where their food comes from. Or Mad Scientists which is chock full of crazy experiments. These are just a few of the many and varied option we have this summer so take a look at our website and discuss with your child which ones interest them. And while your kids are off expanding their minds you might actually be able to cross some things off your ‘to do’ list. “
