Santa Sightings and Holiday Happenings 2016 {UPDATED}

Issaquah, Sammamish, Fall City, Snoqualmie, North Bend

December 1, 2016
It's the most wonderful time of the year! We still have about 24 days of decorating, shopping, wrapping, baking, and merry-making ... Okay, so I didn't say it was the most relaxing time of the year.  In fact, it can be downright insane at times, which is why we want to remind you to take a deep breath, pace yourself, and focus on what's important. I always look back at this time of year with incredible memories of family and friends.  And really those are the only things that matter.

Macaroni Kid makes that really easy by being your source for holiday happenings in Issaquah, Sammamish, Snoqualmie, North Bend, and points in between.  You can stay close to home and make the most of the holidays with so many great community events!  Let this article be your first stop for Finding Your Family Fun this holiday season, and please share it with your friends - they will thank you!

Cougars and Tigers and Reindeer!  Oh my!  There's no place quite like Cougar Mountain Zoo, especially during the month of December.  For the annual Reindeer Festival, the zoo becomes a holiday wonderland where you can visit a team of reindeer, meet with Santa, and so much more! Going to the Reindeer Festival at Cougar Mountain Zoo has become one of my family's favorite holiday traditions, and it's going on EVERYDAY from DECEMBER 1 through 24.

The enormously popular Garden d’Lights festival features over a half million lights which transform the Bellevue Botanical Garden into a blossoming winter wonderland.  EVERY EVENING 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm | November 26 through Saturday, December 31

Snowflake Lane Celebration is an Eastside tradition! Experience the grandeur and tradition of Snowflake Lane! Snow falls nightly as live toy soldiers and winter characters, music and a dazzling light show brighten the night.  EVERY EVENING at 7:00 PM | November 25 through December 24

If you're willing to drive a little further, be sure to visit these Macaroni Kid sites for even more fun events:
