Local Parenting Groups
Belong to a fantastic moms' group or play group? Looking for some more members?
I don't know what I would do without my moms group! And many subscribers have requested information on local parent/kid groups. If you organize or belong to a group that you love, email [email protected] or leave a comment. Would love to add to our listing!
Baby Peppers - PEPS Baby Peppers is for parents and their babies to attend together. When a group begins, all babies are between five and twelve months old. Each meeting includes time for sharing parenting highs and lows, followed by a group discussion on a topic related to the adventure of parenting. Location: Issaquah YWCA Fall Session: Mondays, 12:00 - 1:30 PM, September 26 - December 5.
Issaquah Moms Group
This group plans multiple events each week which may include play dates, field trips, trial classes (e.g. gymnastics, music, language, etc.), holiday parties, moms’ night out, couples’s events, etc. In addition to our many events, we are a caring group and believe in reaching out to provide support for those in need.
La Leche League (LLL) of Sammamish
A mother-to-mother breastfeeding support group that meets the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 10 am to 12 noon at Eastside Fire and Rescue Station 83 by the Sunny Hills Roundabout. Dedicated to helping every mother who wants to breastfeed succeed.
MOMS Club of North Bend
The MOMS Club of North Bend is a social group for all at-home moms. We coordinate park days, play groups, field trips, activity groups, MOMS Night Out and community service projects. A Meet & Greet is held the last Monday of every month at 10 am at Totz and, best of all, children are welcome at all MOMS Club activities. Contact via email:[email protected]
MOMS Club of Sammamish Plateau
We are MOMS helping moms raise their kids in Sammamish and Issaquah on the Sammamish Plateau. Raising kids is hard work full of challenges that can leave us feeling drained and isolated. We know. We've felt that way too. We at the MOMS Club are all mothers. We've all needed support so we've joined together to help each other out.
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers and it exists to meet the needs of every mom - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy to kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs. We would love to have you join our group! Our meetings include a yummy breakfast, speakers, childcare for your children 6 months - 5 (newborns- 6 months will stay with moms) and a relaxing time. First and Third Thursdays of the month from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Call or email Sharon Bridges (MOPS Coordinator) at 206-235-4433 or[email protected].
MOPS - MQP - Sammamish, WA At MOPS group you have a chance to socialize with other moms while enjoying brunch and refreshments, hear great advice and stories from our Mentor Moms, listen to a variety of speakers, have discussion time with other moms and participate in creative projects (crafts.) All of this happens while your children are cared for in our childcare program, MOPPETS. We believe that better moms really do make a better world.
Networking Moms Play Group
Are you a mom with little ones with a home based or small business and would like to get out and network but find it difficult when looking after your children? Would you like to talk about your business, discuss challenges that you have, exchange leads, build relationships while letting your kids play? If you answered yes, then this may be the group for you. Meet the last Friday of the month at the Highlands Firestation at 10-11am. Be prepared to do a short presentation (approximately one minute) about you and your business. If you don't have a home based business but are curious about what other moms are doing to make money, please join us! Please contact Aimee Holy at ubermomma(at)yahoo(dot)com or 314-600-7561 for more details.
