National TriMathlon at Mathnasium of Issaquah

Math athletes can exercise their minds and win prizes at the TriMathlon, held nationwide and at the Issaquah Mathnasium on Saturday, September 29

Students in third through sixth grades can register for FREE either online or at the Issaquah Mathnasium.

The TriMathlon event focuses on the foundations of the Mathnasium Method and Number Sense:

  • Counting
  • Wholes and Parts
  • Proportional Thinking

National TriMathlon winners will be chosen from the top three scores from all participating Mathnasium locations; a total of 12 winners will be selected and will receive honors and more than $10,000 in cash prizes.  In addition,  Local Businesses like Microsoft, True Martial Arts, YoPlateau, U Top It Yogurt, Wells Fargo and others have contributed almost $2000 in total prizes locally. As an added bonus, students who place can win free tutoring sessions at the Issaquah Mathnasium!

Along with medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place local winners at each participating center, all students will receive a certificate of achievement for their involvement. Every child who participates will receive a certificate of achievement and a free goody bag.

  • Open to students in third through sixth grades. Space is limited to about 30 students per grade level. If the competition is full, you are placed on a waiting list and can take the place of someone that does not show up on the day of the competition.
