Encompass has three locations in the area.  Here are some of the programs Encompass offers our community.

Parent Support Group meets the first Tuesday of each month. Encompass has started a FREE monthly support group for parents of children of any age. This group is led by an Encompass parent educator and features open discussion and the opportunity to network with other parents with similar concerns. How would you like to not just get through the winter holidays but actually enjoy them? That is every parent’s dream. Parent-Child Interaction Training  This program helps parents and children through one-on-one, live coaching. Parents learn skills to manage difficult behavior and practice the skills until their child’s behavior problems have improved. For both English and Spanish-speaking families. Birth-to-Three Early Intervention   We provide in-home developmental services for children with special needs. Our team consists of speech and occupational therapists, early-childhood development specialists, family-resource coordinators and the family itself. Using a parent-coaching model, we complete evaluations and help families develop plans specifically for their children. To make an appointment, call 425.888.2777.

Social Skills Groups  Could your child better relate with other children? Consider enrolling him or her in a Social Skills Group! Children are expected to observe, interpret and respond in social situations all day long. We now offer social-skills treatment for children from preschool age through adolescence. One-hour sessions are led by two therapists, with four to five children per group. For more info, call 425.888.3347. 

Developmental Screenings  Do you have questions about the development of your infant, toddler, preschooler or kindergartener? Try a FREE Developmental Screening. Check our website for times, dates and locations. We screen children age 3 months to 5 years. Screenings take 10 minutes. Results are available at once. Parents receive recommendations on motor, speech, self-help, social and cognitive skills.

Pediatric Therapy  Does your child need help with pronouncing letters of the alphabet, overcoming stuttering, comprehending what is said, mastering basic communication skills, feeding or getting around his/her environment? We offer comprehensive evaluations and treatment for children from birth to age 18. We have therapists specializing in speech therapy (PROMPT trained), feeding therapy, augmentative and alternative communication and physical and occupational therapy.
