Family-friendly Local Happenings from Macaroni Kid
Issaquah, Sammamish, Snoqualmie, North Bend and Fall City
This has been a fantastic week for many reasons, not the least of which is that it is season premiere week! Unless you are a reality TV fan, the summer had very little to offer in the way of television entertainment. However, now that fall has rolled around, this MODERN FAMILY is once again filled with GLEE!
Of course, my own children are too young to watch the shows that I deem entertaining, so I have to think of other ways to fit in some family bonding time ;) And, since I'm a pretty typical parent, I figured that you may be looking for ways to do the same thing.
If so, then this is the newsletter for you--chock full of great information -- from Costume Swapping and consigning with JBF to recognizing teachers and making fruit disappear, this issue is a must-{turn off the TV and}-read! As if that's not enough, we are also bringing you the inside scoop on Soulstice Yoga and a list of Birthday FREEbies.
And when it's time to head out the door for some local family fun, you know we've got you covered for that! My MACARONI MUSTS for the week ahead ... collect stamps in the Splash Mob Game, be a pioneer at the Heritage Festival in Duvall, getting my "run" on at the Issaquah Run (registration ends at midnight Thursday), get my hands dirty at ArtEast's Mud Pies Clay Play and research salmon in anticipation of my five year old's questions at Salmon Days! If you're looking for more to do, click on over to our CALENDAR - we've been updating events into October, November, and even December!
