A Local Mom and her MommyStickers {GIVEAWAY}
I am so inspired by creative mom-preneurs who see the need for a product and devise a simple solution. After our very special Baby edition published at the beginning of September, I met just that kind of mom, who recently moved to Sammamish, and brought with her the ingenius MommyStickers! A product that every expectant mom, new mom, and mom-of-a-todder should own and use!
Jamie Branco, mom of two, and creator of MommyStickers shares her story ...
When I was 8 months pregnant I had my driver’s side door blocked in…twice in one week! Since you can’t “suck-in” a pregnant belly I had to have someone back my car out for me, what a hassle! It was shortly after that the conception of MommyStickers was born.
The Pregnant Driver removable decal was the first decal in the collection. It was great because it informed other drivers to be more considerate when parking and I could move it from car to car easily and then remove it when I was no longer pregnant. Shortly after I found myself getting blocked in again however, this time it was the infant carrier…then came the I Sit Here decals.
Now that I am a mom of two not only do I have car seats and carriers to deal with but also adventurous young ones who like to run and play. According to KidsandCars.org 50 children are backed over every single week. Two of these children die each week and in 70% of the cases, a friend or family member is behind the wheel. Educating your child that cars are not toys is key, as well as teaching them responsibility. The I Wait Here magnet helps do both. Kids wait safely by the car with their hand on the magnet until you are ready to take their hand.

My hope is that the MommyStickers collection can help save you time, and even your child’s life. Best of luck in your pregnancy and the many childhood years ahead!
