I remember going to Disney on Ice when I was a kid...so I was really excited when I was given tickets to take my family to the show in Kent last night.
My daughter and her friend, dressed in their best princess costumes, were pretty much wide-eyed the entire night! From Tiana (The Princess and the Frog) to Minnie Mouse, and Buzz Lightyear to Woody (Toy Story), there is something for every boy and girl...and mom and dad too!!!
I asked my 4-year-old to describe, in her own words, the evening...she said "it was so exciting and very fun! Can we go again?"
I have to agree! It was truly an amazing show, and incredibly well done. Adults and kids alike were having fun, waving to the characters skating by, singing along to the songs, and watching, in awe, the flawless ice skating (which seems impossible in the big, bulky costumes).
The show runs about an hour and 45 minutes, with a fifteen minute intermission. The storyline is all about celebrations, from birthdays to Halloween to summer vacation.
Honestly, Disney on Ice Let's Celebrate is not only for kids, the entire family will walk out with big smiles on their faces...and, of course, the urge to go to Disneyland!
