Macaroni Kid Summer Bucket List 2014

We are more than half way through July, summer is in full swing, and the temperatures have been downright hot!

Before the kids head back to school.  Before family time is limited to evenings and weekends.  Before the weather changes.  Before our favorite outdoor activities become distant memories.  Macaroni Kid wants to encourage your family to work through this list of fun "summer" things to do locally!
  1. Check out the highly anticipated Art Outside, this year's Highlands Day Festival, plus a full line-up of local family-friendly Art, Music, and Theater events.
  2. Take a hike on Pretzel Tree TrailSwamp Monster Trail or Talus Rock Loop.
  3. Plan a special date night of live music and a gourmet picnic at Music on the Green at Salish Lodge & Spa.
  4. Embark on a new adventure; hunt for Gnomes at Evans Creek Preserve or try Letterboxing or Geocaching!
  5. Watch a production of Fiddler on the Roof presented by Snoqualmie Falls Forest Theatre in Fall City and/or Disney's Tarzan at Village Theatre KidStage in Issaquah.
  6. Be entertained at one of many local outdoor concerts and other art events.
  7. Explore a playground in Issaquah, North Bend, Sammamish, or Snoqualmie; you can even get wet and cool off at a nearby beach, pool, or spray park.
  8. Go on a Washington Road Trip and use Macaroni Kid to plan for plenty of family-friendly fun!
  9. Have fun for FREE at places like Michael's, Lowe's, and Barnes and Noble - gotta love that idea!
  10. Enjoy fresh produce and so much more at a Farmers' Market or try your hand at Berry Picking.
