With just 20 days until the start of the school year, Macaroni Kid is doing all we can to hold onto the fun of summer for as long as possible! With the help of Tetuán Photography + Design, we put out the call for photos of you and your kids enjoying some local summer fun, and we got some truly fantastic entries!
As you can see in the slideshow above, local kids have been having a lot of FUN this summer! With 18 adorable photos and more than 550 votes, this was one tough competition! Thank you to everyone who submitted photos and to Kristen of Tetuán Photography + Design for offering such a generous prize!
Congratulations to Oliver, son of Ashley and Justin, whose photo received the most votes in our Facebook voting. His expression of pure joy while riding on a speedboat around Lake Washington really captured the fun of summer! We also want to give a shout out to Ryan, son of Kiersten and Pat, who had a tremendous amount of support in the voting round and received just five fewer votes than the winner!
