There is excitement in the air ... tainted with just a twinge of dread. It's back-to-school time, and you know what that means, right? Saying good-bye to summer. Once again families will be waking up to an alarm clock, packing lunchboxes and backpacks, and catching the bus or carpooling ... all before 9:00 am ... five days a week!
At school your kids will be seeing old friends, making new friends, and dealing with easy days and tough days. There will be the fun of learning something new coupled with the demands of homework. Not only the freedom of recess but also the stress of tests ... and the need to stay safe when riding the bus. It's one big balancing act!

Issaquah School District - The first day back to school for grades 1-12 will be Wednesday, September 3. All Kindergarten and Preschool students will start school on Thursday, September 4.
