Local Places to Pick a Pumpkin

Between now and October 31st, families everywhere will seek out the perfect pumpkin, scoop its guts and carve it, light it and enjoy it, and then watch it decompose (my favorite part).  Since you don't want to miss out on that tradition, Macaroni Kid has compiled a list of local pumpkin-picking-places! (Say that three times fast!)

So charge up that camera, grab the rubber boots, and get ready for some great pumpkin pickin'!

SNOQUALMIE VALLEY
Jubilee Farm
What: Hayrides to the fields for u-pick pumpkins and gourds
kid’s hay maze in the loft of the barnfarm animals to visit; no entrance fees and no charges for the hayrides.
When: 10:00am - 5:00pm every Saturday and Sunday during October

Oxbow Farm
What: 
Pick up pumpkins, produce, and play all day in the Living Playground - Gourd Tunnel, Creepy Tepee, Climbing Tractor, and Sorghum Spiral.

Open Thursday from 12pm – 5pm, and Friday to Sunday from 10am – 5pm.

Remlinger Farms

What: Theme Park with rides and activities for all ages, Farm Theatre featuring popular children’s entertainers, Fall Corn Maze, U-Pick Pumpkin field.

Two Brothers Pumpkin Patch at Gamehaven Greenery
What: U-pick pumpkins and gourds, cornstalks, farm animals

Baxter Barn
What: A fun, educational and hands-on learning experience for all ages; field trips are $5 per person; kids get a FREE pumpkin in October with a parent

Pun'kin Time U-Pick Pumpkin Farm
What: Pun'kin Time is at the Richter Farm in Fall City. They offer the most reasonable prices around on u-pick pumpkins at $.33 per pound and a great farm-hay ride with lots of surprises. No matter how large, no pumpkin costs over $12-and they have big pumpkins. They offer ice cream, snacks, and drinks for sale and a free photo shoot area. Take a photo of your family on an old John Deere.

ISSAQUAH
Fox Hollow Annual Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch
What: Pumpkins for sale in the shop or farmstand, Fall Festival, child-sized haybale maze, bounce house, haunted house, concessions, picnic area, face painting, Bouncy castle, Bouncy pillow, pony rides, petting zoo, farm animals  {Admission is $10}
When: Wednesdays-Sundays 10am to 4pm

A Pumpkin Patch at Trinity Tree Farm
What: U-Pick from the field and Pre-Picked Pumpkins as well as tractor-pulled Hay Rides (free of charge)

REDMOND
Dr. Maze's Farm
What:  
You can take a hayride, pick your own pumpkin, play in the Music Garden, visit the goats and alpacas, learn about growing herbs or raising chickens, and race rubber ducks. And be sure to try the fresh kettle corn. There is a maze for everyone at Dr. Maze's Farm.

Open Friday through Sunday in October from 10 am to 6 pm
Flashlight Nights are Friday and Saturday evenings in October from 6 pm to 9 pm

What:  Pumpkin Patch, Corn Maze, Duck Races, Animal Train, and Hay Rides
When: Weekends from 9 am to 7 pm and weekdays from 1 pm to 7 pm. The Corn Maze and Duck Races are open everyday. Animal train is available on weekends.
