Prepare for Daylight Saving Time Ending November 2

Check your smoke detectors and emergency supplies too.

October 23, 2014
If you're like me, you look forward to Daylight Saving Time starting because you get more daylight hours.  It's easier to get up in the morning and it means summer is just around the corner.  But alas, it's about to end...not begin!
Let's be honest, the only good thing about Daylight Saving Time ending is you can get an extra hour of sleep?  And maybe it's easier to get the kiddos to bed because it's actually dark outside at their bedtime.
So...make sure you mark your calendars for Sunday, November 2nd at 2:00 am to move your clocks back an hour.  And it's also a great time to check your smoke detectors and emergency supplies {not necessarily at 2:00 in the morning, but sometime in the next week}.
