Top 5 Reasons to join the Curious Circus at Teatro Zinzanni

November 20, 2014
Curious Circus at Teatro Zinzanni is your invitation to witness daring “Feats of Curiosity” as the Mother of Invention invites you to her Exhibition of Ideas and Inventions!  Step right up and be prepared to be amazed by the inventions of Professor Loco, the magic of Alexander the Amazing, and await the arrival of Dr. Aeroflot as he reveals for the first time his new flying machine!

This amazing morning of family programing also features selections from Recess Monkey’s musical genius, performances from Teatro ZinZanni’s renowned dinner show, and amazing acts from Seattle’s circus stars of tomorrow.
Sounds fantastic, right? Well, just in case you need a little more convincing, here are my Top 5 Reasons to See Curious Circus:

5. The spiegeltent at Teatro ZinZanni is a truly special place to see a show, and, well, this show happens everywhere!  From the raised platform in the center to the walkway running the perimeter, between seats and over booths, every seat is a good seat.  And the youngest audience members are treated to a very special VIP section right in front of the stage.

4. This show isn't just for kids, it features the unique talents of some incredible kids!  Four kids lend their special skills to Curious Circus. You'll be amazed by the Irish dancers and wowed by the kid magician.

3. The music of Recess Monkey - from their latest album WIRED - will have you singing, dancing, and impressed by their clever lyrics!  The show opens with "Science Fair" and progresses through songs like "The Office," which every parent will appreciate, and "Duct Tape," my husband's personal favorite!

2. You are going to feel like part of the show!  Audience participation is encouraged (basically required). Kids are invited to rock out in front of the stage, and parents will have the chance to Instagram photos during one of my favorite songs, Shutterbug. The comedic rapport and timing can be appreciated by audience members both young and old.  My daughter especially loved the bubble machine and silly antics during "Car Wash" and the "Constellation" conga line - audience participation strongly encouraged.

1. At Teatro ZinZanni you always get the chance to see unique talent, amazing strength, and incredible grace - up close and personal.  In Curious Circus,  the young talent is sure to please! You will be in awe of the Irish dancing "Step Sisters" and be amazed by the tricks of Jude Sack, kid magician extraordinaire!  The veteran Teatro Zinzanni performers never disappoint.  Prepare to be mesmerized by the foot juggling of Charly Castors and vertical rope expertise of Terry Crane as a comical Waldo!  You can't help but respect the skill and dedication of these performers.

The latest family-friendly show from Teatro ZinZanni is a concert, a comedy show, and a circus all rolled into one!
