I am feeling a bit shocked by the fact that March has somehow passed us by already! Where did the month go? I honestly don't know. But I do know that April is a great month for families in our area! Northwest Railway starts running regular trains again next weekend. It's just about time to tiptoe through the tulips in Skagit County! And it won't be long before we'll be hunting for eggs and shopping at the Farmer's Market! Take a look at our April Calendar for more activity options!
It's also worth noting - and we're not fooling - that Wednesday is April Fool's Day, and we've got 10 ideas that are sure to fool your kids!
April 2nd is Peanut Butter and Jelly Day. Now, how's that for the perfect excuse to indulge in a childhood favorite for lunch or dinner or both?
No Housework Day is April 7th! No sweeping! No dusting! No mopping! No laundry! No Dishes! No Guilt! Yes, we'll be celebrating! This would also be the perfect day to give our friend Mandy at Green M&M Cleaning a call.
Spring Break for ISD and SVSD is April 6 - 10. For some families it's the chance to getaway on vacation; if this is you, I'm envious. For others it's five days of figuring out what to do with your kids ... all.day.long. For all of us it's reason to celebrate ... we are that much closer to Summer in the NW!
Our local events listings will keep you and your family entertained, stimulated, and exhausted through Spring Break and all year long!
