At Snoqualmie Valley-Issaquah-Sammamish Macaroni KID, we believe moms are real-life superheroes—whether they're packing school lunches at dawn, juggling careers and carpools, or simply doing their best to raise kind humans. Starting this month, we’re shining a spotlight on the amazing moms in our community with our brand-new “Mom of the Month” feature!
Each month, we’ll celebrate one local mom who inspires us—someone who shows up, gives back, pushes through, or simply brings light to those around her. We want to honor moms of all kinds: stay-at-home moms, working moms, single moms, stepmoms, foster moms, adoptive moms, grandmas who are raising their grandkids—every kind of mom is worthy of recognition.

- We’ll select one amazing mama to feature each month
- The featured mom gets a special spotlight on our website, in our weekly newsletter, and across our social media

We’re celebrating one amazing local mom every month—and we want YOU to be part of it! Here’s how the timeline works:
✅ 1st–15th: Nominations Open
Know a mom who deserves some love and recognition?
👉 Nominate her using the link in the comments or on our website.
You can even nominate yourself—we love that!
💌 16th–18th: We Select the Winner
We read every submission and choose one inspiring mom to feature.
We’ll contact her to confirm and gather a short Q&A and photo.
✍️ 19th–24th: Behind the Scenes
We write the article, create graphics, and prepare her feature.
Our featured mom also receives a special local gift—thanks to our awesome sponsor!
🌟 25th–End of Month: Mom of the Month is Published!
Her story is published on our website, in our newsletter, and on social media.
