Ladies Night / Local Holiday Shopping Event

December 2, 2010

Our very own Dana will be there, and she's bringing great giveaways from The Massage Room and Adventure Kids Playcare!  Woo Hoo!  Look for the sassy Mrs. Claus apron ... you can't miss it ;)

Enjoy a night out {without the kids} with your girlfriends!  Support local mom businesses and Eastside Baby Corner.  Shop for yourself and others on your holiday list.  Eat, drink, and be merry with yummy appetizers from Flat Iron Grill and Dandelions and Olives and wine from local vendors!  Clearly, this is an event you don't want to miss!

Mark your calendar now for the Ladies Night Holiday Shopping Event at Blakely Hall in the Issaquah Highlands.  Your $10 donation to Eastside Baby Corner includes drinks, food, and over 20 great, local, gifty vendors to get some holiday shopping done. If you need childcare for the evening, Adventure Kids Playcare is offering a 25% discount from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

Aimee Holy, the organizer of this event, is a local mom with a passion for networking and has been bringing together moms with home-based businesses since early in 2010.  In fact, she has created networking Meetup groups in Issaquah, Seattle, and North Seattle.  This event is a chance to showcase some of those businesses and bring together moms from all over the area.

In an email to Macaroni Kid, Aimee summed up the event, "Mothers supporting mothers in business, supporting the community and having fun – it’s a win for everyone.  I decided to partner w/ a local charity that was loved & known by the community, that would draw people and sponsors to the event and that we would be proud to help out.  I am really excited and proud that the event is coming together so well and I am very thankful for the support of the local business community.  Now I just need people to come to it and make it a success!"

Here’s the link to the Facebook event page, please post it on your wall and invite friends.
