The Kumon "Thinking Face" Represents Our Faces.

Cindy McVay, M.Ed., Kumon Math and Reading Centers

April 12, 2012

The face inside the KUMON logo is the "Thinking Face." It represents the faces of children who learn, think, and grow within Kumon Centers.  At the same time, it also represents the faces of Instructors who are thinking about the children and developing themselves.

Kumon blue represents intelligence, honesty, and the sky that stretches across the world.  It also represents our hope that the world will be united as one, that the future of our children will grow on a grand scale, and that people all over the world will think more seriously about education.

Toru Kumon was a math teacher in Japan.  He believed that education would bring about world peace, one child at a time.  Over four million children do Kumon worldwide but it all started with just one child.  Your child is invited to learn, think, and grow at your local Kumon Center.
