We're launching our rebranded awards - the 2023 Family Favorite Awards (formerly Gold Daisy Awards). Nominate the businesses and places your family loves most in our community: your favorite small businesses, service providers, places to play, and more!
Macaroni KID's Family Favorite Awards recognize the most beloved local businesses for kids and families in the Snoqualmie Valley Washington, and closely surrounding communities. We want your family to help us choose the best of the best!
So... who do parents turn to when they want to find the best places to go or the best doctors or the best storytimes? Other parents! We want YOU to nominate the businesses that your family loves in the Snoqualmie Valley area!
How Do You Get Started?
From now through January 18, 2023, at 11:59 pm, simply show the love by nominating your favorite Snoqualmie Valley area businesses! Nominate as many businesses as you would like. This is your chance to support all of those awesome, local businesses you go to all the time and that other parents might not know about. To keep it fair, only one submission per email address please; you must be a subscriber to the newsletter to nominate. It's free to subscribe! You can subscribe here.

What's In It For The Businesses?
After the nominating round, Macaroni KID subscribers will then be voting for the winners. We will announce the finalists and winners of each category in upcoming newsletters. The winning business in each category will receive free premium placement in our Business Directory for yearlong recognition, a 2023 Macaroni KID Family Favorite Awards certificate, a window cling to display at their place of business, plus the honor of knowing that local Snoqualmie Valley families think they are the best!
The local business with the highest number of votes overall will win a 3-month advertising package with Macaroni KID Snoqualmie Valley!

The Family Favorite Awards SCHEDULE
- Nominations are open from January 1, 2023, through January 18, 2023.
- Starting February 1, 2023, you can vote for the businesses that received the most nominations. Only the top 3 businesses will be selected for the voting round.
- Voting will close on February 14th, 2023.
- Winners will be announced on February 28, 2023
RULES
- Submit only one nomination ballot per email address; please nominate businesses in at least five categories.
- To nominate a business you must be a Macaroni KID SnoValley email subscriber, to sign up click here.
- Votes with fake email addresses will not count and may disqualify the nominee from winning. It is against policy to place a vote using any email other than your own.
- Only the top 3 nominations in each category will be selected for voting.
- Macaroni KID families will then vote on their favorites and one winner from each category will be selected.
- Macaroni KID confirms AND validates each email to ensure authenticity. We reserve the right to eliminate votes that are deemed to be invalid or have interfered with the fair administration of this contest.
This gift card contest will run from JANUARY 1ST through JANUARY 18th, 2023 11:59 pm PST. One winner will be selected from all eligible entries on JANUARY 22, 2023. The winner will be notified by email and will have 48 hours to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed within 48 hours, an alternate winner will be chosen. You MUST be a subscriber to Macaroni KID Snoqualmie Valley and 18 or older to enter. If you are not a subscriber and enter the contest, you will be automatically subscribed. This is a Macaroni KID contest taking place on the Macaroni KID Snoqualmie Valley website and newsletter.
