The Fourth of July is a day to show our patriotism.  It is also a day to spend with family and friends.  A day of traditions and celebrations. Don your red, white, and blue.  Fire up the grill or pack a picnic. Watch a parade. Enjoy a spectacular fireworks display.  Participate in the many community events taking place ... and listed right here on the Macaroni Kid calendar, your source for all the family-friendly happenings!  We also have fireworks safety information and an easy noisemaker craft.  Just remember - have fun, but be safe!

DURING THE DAY

SNOQUALMIE: 4th of July Parade and Celebration

WHEN: Parade: 10:30 am - 11:00 am   WHERE: Start at Cascade View Elementary School Parking Lot

WHEN: Community Celebration: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm  WHERE: Snoqualmie Ridge Community Park

Decorate your bikes and trikes and show your patriotic spirit by participating in the annual 4th of July Parade. Following the parade, head to the Community Park for an afternoon celebration filled with food, games, music, face painting, pony rides and more. Pets not allowed.

ISSAQUAH: Kids, Pets n' Pride Parade, Down Home 4th of July, Heritage Day Celebration

WHEN: Parade starts at 11:00 AM followed by festivities until 2:00 PM
WHERE: along Front Street for the parade and then at Veterans' Memorial Park (also known as the Train Park) and at the Depot

Issaquah is the place to be for good ol' fashioned fun on July 4th!  The celebration kicks off with the Kids 'n Pets Parade at 11:00 AM. You can either find a spot along Front Street to watch the colorful entries or dress up your bike, scooter, wagon, and/or pets to participate. 

After the parade head to Veterans' Memorial Park for fun with pony rides, bouncy houses, water balloons, gunnysacks and three legged races to win all kinds of fun, red, white and blue prizes.  We also hear you can expect a Hay Hunt, the official Slug Speed Race and Beauty Pageant, and pie eating contest!

Heritage Day is an opportunity for kids of all ages to get their hands on history. Head to the Issaquah Depot Museum to make your own butter, use a washboard and wringer to wash clothes, operate a pump car up and down the track, and other hands-on activities!

SNOQUALMIE: Red White & Boom! Public Fireworks Display Show

WHEN: 10:00 pm
WHERE: Snoqualmie Community Park (adjacent to the YMCA) 35016 SE Ridge Street, Snoqualmie

This annual event is organized in response to Fireworks Laws in Snoqualmie: No Aerial Devices Allowed. Remember some fireworks bought at state-approved stands and on tribal reservations are not legal in Snoqualmie, such as aerial devices and firecrackers. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and enjoy the show!

SAMMAMISH: Fourth on the Plateau  

WHEN: 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm | Fireworks at 10:00 pm
WHERE: Sammamish Commons Plaza at City Hall, 801 228th Ave SE, Sammamish, WA 98075

Join the Fourth on the Plateau for some Red, White and Blue Family Fun presented by the City of Sammamish and Microsoft! We are going BIGGER this year with more Food Trucks, more Kids Activities, a new grown-up Game Area and more Giveaways! The event kicks off at 6 pm with the fireworks show happening at 10 pm. This event is free and open to the public.

ISSAQUAH/BELLEVUE: Lake Sammamish Fireworks Show  

WHEN: 10:15 pm to 11:00 pm

Don't miss the annual Lake Sammamish Fireworks Show presented by title sponsors John Kritsonis and Karl Lindor of Windermere Real Estate. All donations to benefit the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank’s Summer Lunch Program serving school age children in the communities of Issaquah and Sammamish. Fireworks begin at 10:15pm on the south end of Lake Sammamish on July 4th. Prime viewing by boat or Vasa Park. Vasa Park will be open free to the public after 9 PM for viewing the show from shore. We look forward to seeing you on the lake.
