Are you a pre- or postnatal mother looking to connect with other moms while reaching your fitness goals? Mark your calendar for Mama Be Strong’s Summer Launch Party on June 3rd at Jeanne Hansen Park in Snoqualmie.

Mama Be Strong is a distinctive, upbeat, full-body strength and conditioning workout for pre- and postnatal mothers in the Snoqualmie Valley. Kids in strollers and baby carriers are welcome, but not required. The company’s founder, Christina Hillsberg, is a resident of the Valley, and a certified Group Fitness Instructor through the American Council on Exercise. Prior to motherhood, she worked as a spy for the Central Intelligence Agency for nearly a decade.

“Finding time for myself through fitness was a lifeline for me after my son was born,” Christina told Macaroni Kid. “My hope is to create a community for pre- and postnatal women in the Snoqualmie Valley where we can support each other to reach fitness goals and navigate the sometimes chaotic waters of motherhood.”

Following Mama Be Strong’s grand opening, the company will offer regular fitness classes for mothers on Mondays and Wednesdays 9:30-10:30 at Centennial Fields Park in Snoqualmie. Mama Be Strong also publishes articles on a variety of topics relating to motherhood and parenting on their blog.
