Close your eyes (well, read the rest of the sentence, then close your eyes) and imagine the ocean breeze through your hair, luxurious surroundings everywhere you look, and every single person in your family having the vacation THEY wanted. Recently, 50 Macaroni Kid Publisher Moms were hosted at this family-friendly resort, on the Caribbean Sea, in Cancun, Mexico. Between us, we were able to experience everything this resort has to offer from kayak tours and one-of-a-kind dining to late night dance parties and relaxing by the pool. I'm writing this for Macaroni Kid Snoqualmie Valley-Issaquah-Sammamish, which makes the family-friendliness part of the trip pretty important to you (and if a couples getaway or girls weekend is more your style, you can find that here too). Azul Beach Resort Riviera Cancun caters to families above and beyond most all-inclusive resorts. They offer premium accommodations, amenities and services, all at a resort that seems huge, yet somehow quite cozy and extremely easy to get around, even for the little ones.
FROM BABIES TO TEENS, AZUL MAKES VACATIONING FUN FOR EVERYONE
The resort's littlest guests are nicknamed “Azulitos.” The Azulitos Playhouse and outdoor water park are located in the family section of the resort. This is where I was lucky enough to stay. The resort has created an environment, full of activities like arts and crafts, games and themed events, where each child feels included, entertained and where they can make new friends and awesome memories. The Playhouse also has a My Gym Children’s Fitness Center, for kids ages 4-12 to enjoy daily classes and programs. The facilities include ropes, parallel bars, trampolines, springboards and big floor pads.
What about your teens? Azul has the Extreme Breeze Teens lounge for ages 13-17. Teens can watch movies, play video games, make new friends and so much more. Worried your teens won't see the sun? They even have daily outdoor activities, like a rock climbing wall and volleyball, to keep them active.
We know that traveling with babies and toddlers can make a vacation feel more like a relocation, but as part of the Karisma Gourmet Inclusive® Experience, Azul Beach Resort Riviera Cancun provides such essentials as strollers, cribs, pack & plays, bottle sterilizers, a toy-lending menu and more, to use during your stay! With six sparkling pools, the ocean just steps away, and a concierge service ready to help you set up local excursions, you will not be at a loss for things to do. There is literally something for everyone at this resort. Along with food options varying from Mexican and Italian to Spanish and Caribbean, even the pickiest eater will find their favorites at the food displays.

In 2020, Karisma will be opening Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya, and we got a sneak peek at this gorgeous location that will soon be a hot family vacation destination.
Think green ... as in slime that is! And everything you, and your kids, love about Nickelodeon. Mix that with a water park that will blow your mind, and that every room is a swim-up suite, allowing for pool and lazy river access, right outside your sliding glass door, and we're just skimming the surface of what's to come at the new Karisma resort.
