Wildwood Ranch is located on 20 acres in Fall City, WA, and offers outdoors-focused camps where kids ages 5 to 13 can run wild and enjoy all that nature has to offer. Our goal is to give kids the freedom to explore their creativity, exercise their imagination, and simply be themselves. Whether your child has grown up in a city apartment or a sprawling hobby farm, Wildwood Ranch offers outdoor adventures for all.
Camp runs in weekly sessions, Monday - Friday, 9 am-3 pm. $500 per week. REGISTER HERE
The property features an open-sided barn with spaces for crafts and games, stalls filled with rabbits and goats, and a kitchen. The barn looks out over horse pastures and an open-air arena for horseback riding. The back pasture is a fenced-in adventure-land featuring a 2-acre forest perfect for exploring and fort-building with our camp counselors. We also have a firepit for s’mores and other cooking adventures. Rain or shine, we make sure that each camper has an amazing time at Wildwood Ranch.
On day one, campers are put into groups of 8-12 kids and given dedicated counselors for the week. Every day each group rotates through activities such as horseback riding, campfire cooking, making snacks like jam or applesauce, gardening, cuddling small animals, making crafts like leather bracelets and tie-dyed t-shirts, and playing group games. While we provide the structure of these rotations, we also aim to allow kids ample time to explore free choice in a safe and monitored environment. Snacks and drinks are provided every day and a cookout lunch is provided on Fridays.
New in 2021 is our Counselor in Training (CIT) program. Geared towards campers ages 12-15, this program’s goal is to continue the camp experience in a fresh way for kids who are aging out of normal day camp. CITs attend at reduced tuition ($250) and take on new responsibilities such as learning about the care and keeping of horses, assisting in groups with younger campers, taking on the role of teacher and helping alongside staff in activities, and helping to care for the garden. Our hope is to provide a structured environment to grow leadership skills and allow young teens to explore and find new passions.
The 2021 season has 12 weeks of camp to choose from, with two weeks during the Spring and 10 weeks during the Summer. Many families choose to sign their children up for multiple weeks, so the activities vary from week to week; we want our campers to have an exciting experience every time they attend!
We are running camp April 5-9, April 12-16, and weekly June 21st to August 27th.
