Open Mic Night @ the Historic Train Depot

July 29, 2022

Open Mic Night began about 13 years ago, and Bob Brock came onto the scene as a participant. He and Lee Haro started managing the gig in 2012. It returns on the first Wednesday of every month, starting July 7 from 6:30-8:30.

“I think open mic helps promote music in the community as part of the effort to promote all forms of art, Bob said. “It offers a chance for folks to gather and play music as well as developing new musical friendships. We try to foster our open mics as an opportunity for beginners, intermediate, as well as advanced performers to play. Young and old and all in between are welcome. “

Bob said the Historic Issaquah Train Depot is the perfect venue. “It has great ambience and allows us to focus exclusively on promoting music and musical friendships.”
