You’re invited: Eastside Fire and Rescue and the City of North Bend are meeting with community on Wednesday, July 24, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. to talk about community strategies and solutions to combat wildfire potential in our region.

Meet at the North Bend Train Depot to discuss concerns, identify priorities, and help to develop a sustainable, ignition-resistant community. Risk-reduction strategies will help reduce structural ignition vulnerabilities and increase urban resilience, helping to increase the safety and well-being of our residents.

The Train Depot is located at 205 McCellan St. This is the second of two community wildfire discussions held in North Bend this summer. Your participation will play a vital role in shaping local wildfire strategy and strengthening community resilience. Together, we can take proactive steps to safeguard our community against the threat of wildfires.

Please confirm your attendance to ensure adequate arrangements are made by emailing EM@northbendwa.gov. For additional questions, please connect with Cat Robinson, at crobinson@esf-r.org.

Thank you for your commitment to our community's safety and preparedness. We look forward to your participation in this important meeting.
