Issaquah Parks Preschool has been serving the community for over 25 years at two downtown Issaquah locations – Memorial Park Center and the Issaquah Community Center.  The program sees success because the staff LOVE to teach and play. When teaching and playing are combined, children LEARN.

Our Preschool program is designed to promote the success of three main goals:

*  Foster and encourage socialization

*  Teach and increase cooperation

*  Enhance listening skills

This program provides opportunities for intellectual, physical, social and emotional development, with the ultimate objective being “kindergarten readiness.

Intellectual Development:

*  Art Expression

*  Language

*  Numbers and Letters

*  Play

*  Problem Solving

*  Science

*  Seasonal Topics

*  Shapes and Colors

Physical Development:

*  Large muscles—hop, skip, balance, etc.

*  Small muscles—cut, button, zip, hold a pencil

Social and Emotional Development:

*  Building positive self-esteem

*  Cooperative interaction with others

*  Increase ability to problem solve and share; handle frustration, disappointment

Our overall curriculum and classroom décor emphasize seasonal topics and holidays.  Parents and family members are encouraged to participate in numerous walking field trips and classroom celebrations.

Mention "Macaroni KID" upon registering, we would love to give you a Free Family Day Pass for the Issaquah Community Center and Julius Boehm Pool.
