By Erin Chamberlain, Cherry Valley Macaroni Kid January 7, 2016
Winter days in the northwest often mean rain and cold temperatures that are not conducive to long periods of outdoor play. So, what to do? Check out some great local and nearby options to keep the kids happy and you sane!  Macaroni Kid has you covered with ideas from all around the Puget Sound!

Julius Boehm Pool {Issaquah} Newly renovated and re-opened in September 2015 and features improved amenities, including new changing rooms, lockers, restrooms and showers.  Our favorite part is the 20-foot-by-6-foot glass-shard mosaic in the lobby!  Public Swim is offered 6 days a week at various times.  Drop-in fee for a family is just $12.

Si View Pool {North Bend}
17 yards in length; 8 yards in width with a max depth of 5 ft to 9 ft, it's a fairly basic pool but the staff is excellent, and the swim lessons are voted the best in our Gold Daisy Awards!  Drop-in fee for a family is just $9. Please note: Si View Pool will be closed for maintenance December 18, 2015 - January 18, 2016.

Bellevue Aquatic Center {Bellevue} The Bellevue Aquatic Center offers two pools available for recreational use.  The Blue Lagoon pool offers lap lanes, a dive tank and a 10 foot slide.  The Warm Springs pool is perfect for infants and toddlers as the water is a balmy 91 degrees. Admission is $6.75 for adults and $5.75 for kids 12 and younger.
