If you haven't experienced Snoqualmie Falls Forest Theater and Family Park, you are missing out on a truly wonderful gem of our community!  I encourage you to add it to your summer bucket list, and I am willing to bet it will become an annual tradition for your family!

For its 51st season, Snoqualmie Falls Forest Theater will produce Disney's Beauty and the Beast!

DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
will be performed at the outdoor amphitheater.  Concession services will be available at the amphitheater, and BBQ dinner services in shelter pavilion.

Dates: July 23rd – August 21st – Saturdays and Sundays

Times: Saturdays 2:00pm and 7:00pm, Sundays 2:00pm

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, performed under a canopy of trees in our open-air amphitheater and surrounded by 95 undeveloped acres of woods, meadows and streams, will delight fans of all ages!
This enchanting tale tells the story of a prince who is transformed into a hideous beast as punishment for his cruel and selfish ways, and an adventurous young woman named Belle whom he imprisons in his castle. In order to become human again, the Beast must earn Belle's love before it's too late. Seven new songs were written for the stage musical. Beauty ran on Broadway for 5,461 performances between 1994 and 2007, becoming Broadway's ninth longest-running production in history.

The show runs for approximately 120 minutes with a 15 minute intermission. You can also enjoy a barbecue dinner before the show, and it's best to reserve dinners in advance online due to limited availability.

Tickets: Adult: $20, Senior/Student: $18, Child (5-12): $10, Children 5 and under: free

Macaroni Kid is pleased to offer you an exclusive DISCOUNT CODE!  When you're ready to buy tickets, click over to foresttheater.org and use the code MACKIDSNO when you book online to get $2 off each ticket!

MORE ABOUT THE THEATER

To get there:
From Preston/Fall City Road you will see a clearly marked turn onto SE David Powell Road.  A few miles down the road, you'll see more signs.  The road does meager a bit; just keep going.

At the top:
You'll arrive at the parking lot and find the box office, a dining area with cloth-covered picnic tables,  bathrooms (I recommend a visit), and a very popular play structure.

The trail:
Just past the play structure is the trail leading down to the amphitheater.  The trail is not paved but is well-maintained.  It's an easy walk that takes you into the forest.  You're surrounded by towering trees, and it's really quite magical!

Also please be aware that there are several accessible options. There's even a shuttle that takes people (and wheelchairs) down to the bottom of the theater, where it's a straight and flat trip to the seating.
Just before you get to the theater, there is a place to apply bug spray and to grab a seat cushion - donations (about $1 per cushion) are appreciated.

The theater:
"Forest theater" is the perfect way to describe what you will experience at this unique spot to see a show.  It's an outdoor amphitheater and seats about 250 audience members.  As you'd expect, the seats are rustic, which is part of the charm.  The benches do have backs, and with the rented cushion, I found them to be quite comfortable.  The rows are plenty wide and great for sitting with a group.
Before the show and during intermission: You can buy popcorn and bottles of water - each just $1.
