"We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others bright, some have weird names, but they all have learned to live together in the same box." ~Robert Fulghum
Considering recent news stories and all the political unrest, I think we can all agree that the world needs more people who are willing to "live together in the same box" and perhaps celebrating National Coloring Book Day can be a step in the right direction.
A local mom and talented artist, Magdalena Cooney, created two beautiful, simple, inspiring coloring pages just for our Macaroni Kid audience.
You are invited to print them, color them, ponder the ways you can bring more kindness and love and peace into our world!
