Looking for Summer Activities for the Kids?

Try the library! KCLS Announces their Summer Reading Program

June 13, 2013
School is out or almost out (depending on your district) and summer is here! How will you help your children keep busy during their free time (besides checking out Macaroni Kid Calendar)?  A visit to the library, of course!

The King County Library System’s Summer Reading Program offers a full schedule of free activities and events to keep your kids interested and reading all summer long.

The library’s Dig Into Reading program brings dozens of free events right to your neighborhood. When they sign up for the summer reading program at any KCLS library, children will receive their own activity books and a reading log to keep track of their reading. They will have fun, discover new ideas, earn halfway and completion prizes, and improve their reading skills.
