Come Bounce & Dream on January 20 - benefitting Ben Towne Foundation

January 9, 2014
More than 50 years ago Martin Luther King declared his dream to the nation.  On Monday, January 20, we will honor his vision with a dream of our own.  We are dreaming of a future without pediatric cancer and supporting the research efforts of the Ben Towne Foundation in the hopes of making that dream a reality.

Macaroni Kid Snoqualmie Valley - Issaquah and Ben Towne Foundation Eastside Chapter have partnered with KidzBounce and are inviting local parents and kids to Bounce & Dream at our “I have a dream …” Pajama Party on Monday, January 20 - a day when the kids don't have school.  And you won't even have to get them dressed for this event; they can wear pajamas!

The event will take place in two sessions: from 9:30 to 11:00 am and again from 12:30 to 2:00 pm.

Kids will bounce off the walls in the assortment of inflatable structures, giant slides and obstacle courses provided by Kidz Bounce.   In addition each session will feature creative Lego-building with Bricks4Kids and collaborative Art-making under the guidance of instructors from Smart with Art.  Kids won't want to miss the chance to make silly faces and capture memories in our photo booth with Photography by Abby and Jessica Zaslow Photography.  There will even be games and activities in the attached gym space - plenty of options and space for everyone to have a great time!

You can also expect snacks including yummy treats from Steve's Doughnuts - included in the AM session price.  For the afternoon session, we'll be offering slices of pizza (for FREE) plus MyCakes will be there selling pre-packed cake pops, cupcakes, salad and pita sandwiches and donating half of proceeds to Ben Towne Foundation!

The cost is just $10 - adults and siblings under 2 are FREE.  We are not offering online ticket sales, and encourage cash at the door.

There's no better way to burn some energy while supporting a great cause!

Ben Towne Foundation was created with one goal in mind, to see the end of pediatric cancer. When the Towne family lost their son Ben to neuroblastoma, they knew his story wasn’t finished. Ben was a tenacious, driven, passionate little boy. He may have only been three-and-half when his precious life was cut short, but it is fitting that the foundation bearing his name is passionate, driven and tenacious in their fight against pediatric cancer. Ben Towne Foundation was launched in the summer of 2010, and already has raised over a million dollars with 100% of their donations going to pediatric cancer research.
