Local parents can ask their questions on a variety of topics through a new Ask the Experts blog Encompass is launching this month. Simply email questions to AsktheExperts@EncompassNW.org and these questions will be the foundation of a series of articles from the expert staff at Encompass.
“Parenthood is an incredible life experience—and potentially isolating and frustrating. Encompass offers support and resources to parents in our community to assist in connecting with our childhood development, early learning and parent education experts as well as other local parents,” says Kerry Beymer, parenting education and support manager at Encompass.
Resources, like those Encompass provides, help better bonding with spouses and children by giving direction on managing stress and anger, improving communication skills, developing realistic expectations of children and using positive discipline when dealing with challenging behaviors.
