1Rider Cycle Studio Opening Soon in Issaquah

First-class instructors, performance bikes and in a stadium built to bump the beats; only at 1Rider

October 17, 2019

1Rider, a new indoor cycling studio, will be opening its doors in Issaquah this October. For the first time, Issaquah and its neighboring cities will now have a boutique indoor cycling experience in their own backyard. Customers will have access to Stages SC2 performance bikes and can ride in a three-tier stadium designed to enhance their experience. The studio boasts a top-of-the-line sound system and has custom lighting controls to heighten the ride.

Customers can expect a fun, high-energy class, crafted around the beat of the music. Every ride is uniquely athletic, has a fresh playlist and designed to get your heart and body moving. Resistance and speed are controlled by riders; making the classes appealing for both beginners and experts. Their signature 45-minute ride includes a series of speed intervals, climbs and even an upper-body segment to strength train your arms.

Issaquah residents Paulette & Lance Zimmerman are the owners behind 1Rider. Bringing a quality, boutique cycle experience locally has been a dream for years. “We’re excited to finally open our doors and give the community a studio that’s close by,” said Paulette. “We want riders to get a challenging sweat sesh, but to also have a blast in the process and hang in the studio with friends. The right music, instructor and ambiance can truly push your workout further and motivate you beyond the ride. That’s what we want for our riders every time.”

1Rider provides free clip-in shoes, towel service, lockers and has onsite shower and changing rooms to use; including bathroom toiletries and use of hair products. Customers will also be able to view the class schedule and book their bike online via the website or through their mobile app coming in early November.

Leading up to the grand opening, customers can take advantage of heavily discounted pre-sale memberships and class packs available on the 1Rider website. “We call it our Original Hustler Club,” said Paulette. “What’s really nice is that customers who purchase a reoccurring membership get to lock that discount for the duration of their membership. So even 6 months from now they get that Original Hustler rate.”

The opening schedule will be posted in the coming weeks. 1Rider is planning to also offer a series of free community rides in late October. To receive information on those events, you can sign-up on the site or follow them on Instagram or Facebook @1RiderCycle.
